Our youth ministry is, unusually, shared with our three partner churches, St. James, St. Albans and St. Pauls centred at Furzedown Youth Centre over the road.

We aim to provide a safe space for young people to:

  • Know and experience God and develop their relationship with Him
  • Grow positive friendships
  • Receive opportunities to serve others
  • Have fun!

Our youth ministry is run across the Furzedown Churches by our Youth Minister, Sam Talbot, with the support of a committed team of volunteers drawn from the partner churches. The values underpinning the work are to provide effective pastoral care, encourage discipleship and build meaningful community.

All who work with young people in the Furzedown Churches undergo a DBS security check (processed by the Churches Agency for Safeguarding) and our safeguarding framework is underpinned by the Diocese of Southwark.

For more information on all youth activities, please contact Sam at the Church Office.
